The Northumberland Tories are at it again.

Not content with stoking an atmosphere of fear and intimidation amongst senior staff at County Hall and overlooking despicable behaviour of their councillors to even members of their own group they’re now taking their bullying on the campaign trail.

Northumberland’s worst kept secret of recent days is the news that the once ‘independent’ Morpeth Tory, Paul Scott, has been reported to the Police for a sickening tirade against the Labour candidate for the ward he’s been parachuted into. Perhaps his ire was stoked because the local Labour Party had pointed out that far from delivering schools in Seaton Valley the Tories had actually held the development back by four years. Perhaps it was his fury that on his first ever visit to Seaton Delaval he noticed the Labour candidate actually lived there, not 11 miles away in Morpeth.

Whatever the reason it is disgusting. And his employment as office manager for food snatching Blyth MP Levy surely makes the situation worse. Particular as that snivelling scum bag cried bullying when local residents incensed at his vote to starve local children met with residents ire.

Meanwhile in Bedlington the independent/Tory ruse in unraveling, again amidst accusations of bullying. The less compliant of the Bindies have left the field citing the lies of the administration and have quickly been replaced by a new cohort thought to be close to the county’s Tories. Their plans have been thrown into disarray though, as well respected town councillor and anti Tory independent, Vic Thompson has also thrown her hat in the ring. That an independent who would likely be in opposition to the Tories is receiving so much heat from so called ‘Indy’s’ probably says more about the closeness of the moustachioed 70’s club comedian in West Bedlington to the Tories than any paid positions he’s hoovered up for backing them ever will.
