Freedom fight
ONCE the vulnerable have been vaccinated we will set Britain free, the Government promised. What happened to that?

 

The overwhelming majority have had one dose. Three million have had two.

The jabs progress is spectacular.

 

But now the Government has won the power to restrict our lives for six more months. Covid passports may become a thing in pubs and elsewhere. Masks and social distancing are talked of as fixtures for the foreseeable future.

 

But the vaccines work. Barring some as – yet unknown variant any third wave will kill or hospitalise a fraction of the first two. If the jabs render Covid no worse than the flu, we must return to full normality in the summer.

 

And don’t just swallow the health brigades advice, Prime Minister.

 

The Tories will never surrender total control of the population.

 

 

 

Hiding behind the pandemic the Tories have:

 

o      Increased food bank use

 

o      Driven up poverty

 

o      Raised unemployment levels massively

 

o      Prepared the nation to slash benefits further

 

o      Brought in the Policing Bill

 

o      Hugely increased the number of children in need

 

o      Pushed up rental costs

 

o      Shattered our high streets

 

o      Broken the UK economy

 

o      All hidden behind the phrase
