Deluded Renner-Thompson must have missed the reading of the runes?

 

Guy Renner-Thompson the Northumberland Conservative Councillor who models his appearance on that of Jacob Rees-Mogg has been beaten at both the Northumbria Police Commissioner elections and in Newcastle North general election has come out with a bold statement stating he expects his party, Northumberland Conservatives will hold the County Council after the 2025 local government elections.

His press statement shows he has missed what's happening under the noses of his counterparts at County Hall as his party crumbles into a heap through the lack of any attempt to deliver best value on behalf of its residents and the members of his party being fingered for their lack of belief in their candidates for office. In fact the Council has now decided to drop out of trying to achieve or strive to reach the Government's Key Performance Indicators and have pushed a report through their secret cabinet to abandon them and invent some easier to reach ones of their own. That's shockingly bad news for residents who can’t cross the street in some places due to the amount of street weeds blocking their paths.

In both recent elections PCC and General, Northumberland County Conservative Councillors were conspicuous in their absence in partnering their official candidates. Even the odd ex-cop Gordon Stewart who has led Guy Oppermans communications set up for ages has not been seen ‘on the doors’ and had the ramifications of delivering zero that people actually want outside of the old Castle Morpeth bounds stuffed down their throats.

They say a picture paints a thousands words, if that's true then even the lone independent from Berwick, Councillor Georgina Hill had ten thousand words more than the Tories could offer in her regular photo’s delivered during her campaign to oust Anne Marie Trevelyan who wasn’t seen or helped by many.

In the middle of the campaign to run the nations making up the British Isles a top Tory Councillor from Cramlington decided to throw the picks in and create an even bigger gap in the Tories minority administration at the mausoleum of County Hall set somewhere on the bleak outskirts of Morpeth and we can in our codgerly minds eyes see the faces for the next sets of thousand words when the Tories actually wake up and realise that Northumberland is not only a Tory free zone but that Castle Morpeth is fully represented by Labour MP’s and not just bits of it as was the case previously.

This is a simple small snippet of a codgers tale as to why Guy Renner-Thompson should have been present when the runes were read at County Hall and not bothered to to try and convince people that being a fan of Jacbob Rees-Mogg is a prime reason people may wish to vote you into office.
